Roma per il Giubileo represents the set of resources that italian Istitutions involved in the event are deploying under an unique identity. The Technical Secretariat of the Jubilee and the eight interinstitutional working groups coordinate the organizational structure connected to the Holy Year, whose activities go through two key locations: the Managing Room and the Press Point, the eyes and the voice of Rome during the Jubilee.

The Jubilee Managing Hall is located in Piazza Giovanni da Verrazzano. This place is accessible only to authorized personnel, who works behind the scenes to ensure the safety of citizens, tourists and pilgrims, with the help of the security cameras placed in the area of Rome.

The SKYPE FOR BUSINESS videoconferencing system ensures coordination with ten operations rooms (Questura di Roma, Comando Provinciale Carabinieri, Vigili del fuoco, Guardia di Finanza, Corpo Forestale, Comando Polizia Municipale Roma Capitale, Protezione civile Comune di Roma, ARES 118, ATAC, Agenzia Mobilità). Also, the TETRA radio system is among the communication tools available to the staff.

The room uses a shared cartographic system based on technical applications owned by various organizations (Agenzia per la Mobilità, Città Metropolitana di Roma, Protezione civile comunale e SIRS, Sogei, Regione Lazio). Thanks to this system is possible to evaluate live scenarios and perform continuous monitoring during the events. It is a "best practice" that can be reused in the future events.

The Press Point of Roma per il Giubileo is located in Via dei Penitenzieri 14, at the Theatre Hall of Santo Spirito in Sassia, made available by the ASL RM / E and Regione Lazio. Thanks to Eni's technical sponsorship, the Press Point is able to accommodate up to 100 journalists and communication officers. It offers 30 Lan connected PCs, a press consultation area offered by AGI (Italian Journalistic Agency) and an information desk.

This site is the reference point for the Media wishing to interface with the Italian institutions.

The editorial staff of Roma per il Giubileo portal is located here and manages the information and communication activities promoted by Prefettura di Roma, Roma Capitale, Città Metropolitana di Roma and Regione Lazio. The contents of the portal, the social media profiles and the app are managed by interns coming from the Universities of Rome (La Sapienza, Tor Vergata and Roma Tre).
